Walmart Christmas Ad Has $200 Xbox with $100 Gift Card, $300 HP Laptop

After a few mediocre Black Friday ads showed up, we began to assume this would be a slow holiday season for tech deals. Fortunately, Walmart has just proven us wrong by releasing an ad with their Christmas deals. Finally we have something to look forward to.

The most exciting deal on the ad just might be the Xbox 360 Arcade offering. You get the console for $200, which isn’t earth-shattering, but Walmart will also give you a $100 gift card. Let’s say you use that $100 towards an Xbox hard drive (the one glaring omission in the Arcade version), which costs $135. Basically, you’ve just bought the Xbox 360 Pro edition for $235 dollars. Now that’s a deal.

The Walmart Christmas ad also includes a nice deal on the HP G60-519WM laptop for $300. It includes a 2.2GHz Intel Celeron, 15.6-inch HD display, Windows 7 Home Premium, 3GB RAM, and a 250GB hard drive. Not spectacular, but for $300 you can’t complain.

If you’re looking for a TV, Walmart also has deals on a 46-inch Panasonic plasma HDTV for $788 and a 42-inch Sharp LCD TV for $498.
