Over the weekend came rumors of a somewhat new Xbox with Natal built-in/bundled. Today brings rumor of stereoscopic 3D for the same Natal-based Xbox.

According to TeamXbox, "...in addition to built-in Natal tech, a key feature of the next Xbox would be full HD stereoscopic 3D visuals similar to 3D movie theatres."

This seems like a bit of a wishful reach to me. 1UP speculated that Microsoft will build an "...upgraded, repackaged, and rebranded" Xbox 360 in 2010, which TeamXbox and our own Dan Hope disregard for various reasons; Cesar Bernardini of TeamXbox notes that Microsoft won't launch a new Xbox until stereoscopic 3D TVs become more widespread. That happens to be, by most experts' estimations, at least four years away.

Besides, I don't even have an LCD TV yet! Give me some time to enjoy that before you spring the next generation on me!
